The Year of Divine Grace and Favour

All Are Welcome At
Faith Dimensions Ministries

In the book of Hebrews 11:1 we read these words “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”.
The word used for faith here means, a foundation, assurance, title-deeds, in reality when we talk about faith in God if we really have it, it becomes all the proof we need, verse 3 tells us, “Through faith we understand…” this suggest that without faith we cannot understand the things and ways of God.
Here at Faith Dimensions Ministries we encourage our members to believe and walk by faith in our never failing God.
We believe in the ability of the word of God to save, heal and deliver through the power of the Holy Spirit and because we love our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ we cannot cease to praise His name.
Please read through our pages to see the wonderful things that God is doing here at Faith Dimensions Ministries. This is a house of refuge, no matter what your life experience may be ALL are in need of Jesus Christ. On behalf of the Faith Dimensions Ministries family, we would like to thank you for visiting our website.
God Bless you

Wrapped Closely – Part 2
Text: Genesis 13:14-15
From Genesis 11: 26 we read about Terah who had 3 sons namely Abram, Nahor and Haran. Although Haran was the third child, he died before his father and two older brothers and also left behind a son (Lot).
Subsequently, Terah left Ur of Chaldees and headed for Canaan, he felt this place had better prospects for his large and growing family, however according to Genesis 11:31“…and they came to Haran and dwelt there” The name Haran comes from a root word meaning to burn up, to melt or to dry up.
On be known to Terah tragedy was imminent. According to Genesis 11: 32 he died in this land.
How many times have we started out in pursuit of purpose only to settle in Haran and drying up as a result? It is important that we do not accept anything outside of Gods plan for us and we need great faith to hold unto the Lords promises until they are accomplished in our lives.
After Terah died, God gave Abram an incredible promise outlined in Genesis 12:1-4, this was all predicated on him leaving his country, homeland and kindred. Abram relinquished the known for the unknown, the present for the future and began this great walk of faith with God but in verse 4 of the same chapter “…and Lot went with him…”
Even though the act seemed logical based on their relationship it became apparent that his nephew was only interested with what was immediate and advantageous. Genesis 13: 10-11
The Lord knew what was in Lots heart and refused to give Abram the Promised Land until “…after that Lot was separated from him…” Genesis 13: 14-15. The name Lot comes from a root word which means to wrap closely!
To encounter the divine grace and favour of God, we need to identify and separate ourselves from the person/s wrapped closely around us but are blocking the flow of Gods blessings in our lives.
